My Background

I have been involved in all aspects of comedy improv and sketch writing during my entire 10 years in New York. I have studied written for and performed with Second City's Ann Bowen and with the Upright Citizens Brigade. In fact, I had the opportunity to study with Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler. I have founded two improv groups and currently write and perform with Rash Behaviour. We have developed quite a following and have performed at various well known NY comedy clubs around New York City including Caroline's on Broadway, Galapagos, The Cutting Room and Mo Pitkins.

This group was the focus of a documentary, Confederate Behaviour. This film won an honorable mention at the New York and Los Angeles Independent Film Festivals. Our sketches have also appeared on The Independent Film Channel. In addition to performing, I have written for various publications including Time Out New York, Shecky's Nightlife Guide and I teach comedy improv at theatres in Manhattan, corporations and various high-end health spas and resorts around the country.
